The history of Domaine Arleblanc stretches back to 1887, when the Teyssier family took ownership. For decades, they meticulously cultivated the fertile land, harvesting beautiful crops of peaches, apples, and grapes. The estate thrived solely on agriculture until 1969.

Faced with the challenges of agricultural decline, the Teyssier family made a bold, visionary choice: they decided to share their spectacular home with others. They created the valley’s very first campsite (and one of the earliest in the Ardèche), transforming the thriving farm into a haven for holidaymakers.

This unique adventure began in 1969, and for over 60 years, the story has been continued by the same passionate family. Today, we still operate with the same original joy, shared passion, and dedication to creating fond, lasting memories.

Yes, your dogs can enjoy the river and the vast open spaces surrounding the campsite. There are more secluded beaches and swimming spots where they can cool off in peace, and the area surrounding the campsite offers numerous walking trails along the river and through the countryside.

Yes, Camping Arleblanc is an ideal starting point for canoe trips in the Ardèche. We organize fantastic canoe trips on the Ardèche, Chassezac, and LaBeaume rivers throughout the season, with family routes suitable for children aged 7 and up, provided they can swim. During peak season, there’s even a shuttle bus from the campsite.

Several marked hiking trails begin at Domaine Arleblanc, starting from the campsite. These trails lead you through the Labeaume Valley, past panoramic views of the Cévennes, and through charming villages like Labeaume. During peak season, a weekly hike led by a professional guide is offered. Participation is free for our guests.

Domaine Arleblanc is a true family campsite in a peaceful, natural setting. Activities and entertainment are organized with respect for guests, and silence is required in the evenings and at night, especially after evening entertainment. The goal is to offer enjoyable moments while ensuring a good night’s sleep by the river. A night watchman is on site during peak season.

Yes, Domaine Arleblanc has a wonderful swimming pool located in our family water park with several water slides, an aquatube, and a water playground for the little ones. The pool is open daily during the season, and there are lounge chairs for relaxing and sunbathing. Swimming trunks are not permitted in the pool, but you are welcome to wear shorts in the river.

Our campsite is ideal for a holiday surrounded by nature. We have been awarded the Accueil Vélo (Cyclists Welcome) quality mark, and nearby cycling and mountain bike trails often start right from the campsite. Numerous hiking trails also begin directly from the campsite. The proximity of the Via Ardèche cycle route and the Gorges de l’Ardèche makes the campsite a perfect base for exploring the Ardèche without having to travel far.

While a car is useful for exploring the entire southern Ardèche, many things are accessible directly from the campsite on foot or by bike: swimming in the river, hiking, fishing, nature walks, mountain bike trails, and in high season, organized canoe trips with a shuttle service departing from our domain.

With us, you don’t have to choose between a swimming pool and a river: We have both. A large 20×10-meter pool, water slides, a 5×5-meter water playground for the little ones, and, best of all, 900 meters of wonderful river water for swimming and relaxing. Thanks to our three springs, our river always has wonderfully fresh water. So with us: more space, less crowds, and everyone can find their favorite spot.
